The Opportunity:
We are looking for a compassionate and dependable individual to provide in-home support for a Middleton resident. This role is funded through Wisconsin’s IRIS or Family Care program, with Support Broker Services, LLC facilitating the initial introduction and guiding you through the hiring process. After that, it’s a direct relationship between you and your client, offering unparalleled autonomy and satisfaction.
Schedule: Part-time, primarily weekday evenings from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, with flexible days to fit your life.
What You’ll Do:
Your support will empower your client to live independently and with purpose. Your day-to-day will include:
- Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal care and hygiene in a way that respects dignity and encourages self-sufficiency.
- Creating a Safe Haven: Managing light housekeeping duties like laundry, dishes, and general tidying to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Providing Genuine Connection: Offering true companionship through engaging conversation, shared hobbies, and simply being a calming, reassuring presence.
- Supporting Their Passions: Helping your client pursue the personal goals and hobbies that bring them joy and fulfillment.
- Keeping Life on Track: Providing safe, reliable transportation to medical appointments, errands, and grocery or pharmacy runs.
