About the Job
Now Hiring: A Compassionate Caregiver for Meaningful Mornings – Madison’s East Side.

Looking for caregiving work that feels less like a job and more like a genuine connection? This is your chance to spend weekday mornings that truly matter—just two days a week—with a warm, encouraging team on Madison’s east side. (A friendly small dog is part of the home, so animal lovers will feel right at home!)

This isn’t a role where you’re just a pair of hands. Here, you’re seen as a person. We’re hiring for Tuesdays and Thursdays—only six hours a week—in a position built on trust, genuine connection, and the little moments that bring real joy.

Why You’ll Love This Role:
Yes, there are clinical tasks—but the true heart of this job is the relationship. Imagine sharing morning coffee and conversation, watching favorite shows side by side, taking a gentle walk, or tagging along on a quick errand. Your companionship is what turns an ordinary morning into something he genuinely looks forward to.

Position Details:
  • Pay: $21.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:45 AM – 11:45 AM (6 hours/week total).
  • Employment: Direct hire through the individual’s long-term care program — fully compliant with Wisconsin wage and labor laws. Equal Opportunity Employer.
  • Training: Full, paid training on all medical equipment and procedures provided — no prior experience needed, just a willingness to learn.

What Each Shift Looks Like:
  • G-tube Feeding: Provide gentle gravity feeds with comfort as the priority.
  • Seizure Awareness: Stay attentive and help maintain a safe, calm environment.
  • Mobility Assistance: Use a gait belt for secure transfers and movement support.
  • Personal Care: Offer light, respectful assistance as needed.
  • Companionship & Outings: Share authentic conversation at home, plus the occasional trip to a park or coffee shop when the weather cooperates.

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Someone open to learning G-tube feeding and seizure monitoring.
  • A clear, patient communicator who puts the relationship first.
  • Comfortable assisting with transfers using a gait belt.
  • Confident supporting safe mobility during walks and outings.
